COVID triage machine 3000
—> You answered: YES, the patient has symptoms but has no known exposure. Next question:
Do you only need to rule out covid, or would you like a physician to examine your child in person either way?*
*Explanation: If you normally wouldn’t be concerned (e.g. mild cold symptoms you otherwise wouldn’t call about), but you need to make sure it’s not COVID, select “Rule out COVID”. But if your child has symptoms you feel a physician should examine either way, such difficulty breathing, concern for an ear infection, etc., select “examination in person” so we can do a more in-depth evaluation. You will get a visit with your physician either way, this just determines whether that is via Telehealth or in person.
Same-day appointments
For urgent needs, same-day appointments are available Monday through Friday. Please call as early in the day as possible, the more notice we have the easier it is to fit everyone in.
Need help outside of office hours?
Firstly, if your child has an emergency, please call 911 or go directly to the ER - they will contact us if needed once your child has been evaluated.
Urgent Care centers can also be helpful when something needs to be seen outside of office hours but it's not an emergency.
For our list of preferred Urgent Cares and ERs, see our resources page.
